Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe, the motherland, despite the financial challenges the country has faced since the early 2000s, remains a place of unparalleled natural beauty, a resilient culture, and ancient complicated history. It offers a rich tapestry of experiences for those willing to adventure away from the cities. Although I was born here, I have traveled Zimbabwe less than any other place, especially compared to the United States. The last time I returned, I made a conscious effort to learn the land of my birth, not as a native passing through, but as a student of its landscapes, and histories.
