Paragliding is a popular outdoor activity in Appenzell Innerrhoden, particularly in the Alpstein region, where steep ridges and reliable alpine wind conditions provide favorable launch sites. Flights commonly begin near Ebenalp and other elevated viewpoints, offering clear views of rolling pastures, mountain villages, and the surrounding Alps.
